Cristy: "So I'm making a cherry brandy cream filling. When I was younger, my mum, after Sunday lunch, used to always buy a black forest gateau, so I got the inspiration from that."


Voice-over: "Recreating her favourite childhood flavours, Christie's almond, chocolate and cherry tart will be updated with a cherry brandy chantilly cream and finished with a white chocolate collar and intricate decorations."

Prue Leith: "It's a little bit messy where the collar joins the cake, because you want that nice and smooth. But, do you know what? It still looks extremely inviting."


Paul Hollywood: "The cake is a little bit dry and very crumbly. I do think you need more cherries, more cherry brandy, more chocolate. It's got no real flavour."
