Shuai (planning) : "For the first course, I am making a fritta de mare using shrimp, octopus, squid alongside aquachile. So you have both Italian and Latin flavors."



Judges: "With the aguachile, everything just kind of fell off the smoothness of the squid, and it's, like, lackluster. The seafood itself is kind of bland."


"I think they had different parts of this thing, and as they started building it, they didn't season properly."

"Your frutti di mare. The base of the flavors were there I just wanted all the flavors amped up.. The second that something is under seasoned, that dish falls flat."
