Pan-Seared Sea Bass

Pan-seared Sea Bass with Lemon Garlic Spinach, Sautéed Cherry Tomatoes, White Wine Beurre Blanc and Toasted Breadcrumbs
Presenting to Judges
Kayla: "Today for you, we have a pan seared sea bass over a bed of lemon garlic spinach with sauteed cherry tomatoes, a white wine beurre blanc, and toasted panko breadcrumbs."
Judges
"Visually, it looks beautiful."
"I love the finesse. I can't wait to dig in. Good job."
"How did you cook the fish?"
Ryan Kate: "I coated the fish in a little bit of flour, salt, and pepper just to get a nice crisp on it."
"Ladies, fish is cooked beautifully."
"It's soft. It's moist. However, when you cook fish, don't cover it with the tomatoes. Otherwise, it gets soggy. If you've got crisp fish, show it off."
"The spinach itself is bright. There's enough lemon zest in there, and I like that the beurre blanc has enough butter."
"I'm a fan of the seasoned breadcrumbs. I think they really add a crunch and another aspect of flavor to the dish, and it makes me very proud and happy to see two contestants, after 10 years come back, present Such a mature and well executed dish gives me a lot of personal satisfaction. So thank you."
