Chef Kevin: "I have a mushroom sauce. My plan was to make a shakshouka, and of course, I have the mushroom sauce. It doesn't go very well together, so I'm going to twist it a little bit with something my mom used to make. It's a rahmschnitzel. Just need to peel my pepper. Schnitzel normally has breaded meat, so it's, like, crunchiness. But because I don't have any meat, I'm just gonna do some crouton on the top. Of course, with the eggs, you want the texture."


Chef Kevin (presenting to judges): "I have the mushroom sauce, and this is poached egg rahmschnitzel."

In Quickfire challenges, typically only the best three, or the worst three, chefs are judged. Since there is no elimination in a Quickfire challenge, this middle ground is less of a relief than for elimination challenges.
