Salted Peanut Butter Millionaire's Shortbread
Great British Baking Show ™ - Judging
Liam: "I love the combination of salt, sweet. I've been developing it for quite a while now. Put it this way, every time my friend comes to my house, there's always a jar of caramel in my fridge. So he's been to my house a lot."
Voice-Over: "Liam's friend Jamie has repeatedly approved his peanut butter caramel, which he'll sandwich between vanilla shortbread and dark chocolate."
Liam: "So what I've done, I've made my own peanut butter. And then once I've made the caramel, I'm going to add a couple tablespoons of peanut butter into that."
Mary Berry: "How does that react with the caramel?"
Liam: "To be fair, it kind of helps me in the sense of getting the caramel to set. Like, salted caramel is pretty sweet as it is. I like the salty taste. Like, peanut butter balances out."
Paul Hollywood: "I love the chocolate on top because it's nice and neat and flat. The simplicity of it works. You've got a few issues with the caramel pouring outside. The proportions, two to one. I like that."
Paul Hollywood: "The peanut butter in there is very clever. It's set beautifully. It's crunchy enough, but again, soft enough. You've got that nice balance between the two, but I love that flavor."

About The Great British Baking Show ™
The Great British Bake Off ™ (often abbreviated to Bake Off or GBBO and referred to in the United States as The Great British Baking Show ™) is a streamed British baking competition, in which a group of amateur bakers compete against each other in a series of rounds, hoping to impress the judges with their baking skills. One contestant in The Great British Baking Show ™ is eliminated in each round, and the winner is selected from the three contestants who reach the final.
The Great British Baking Show ™ operates on a weekly elimination process to find the best all-around baker from the contestants, who are all amateurs. In each episode, the bakers are given three challenges based on that week's theme: a signature bake, a technical challenge, and a show-stopper. The bakes are assessed by the judges who then choose a "Star Baker" for the week, and a contestant is also eliminated. In the final round, three bakers are left and a winner is chosen from the three.
