Judges: 

"Shuai, walk us through your dish."

Shuai: "As soon as I saw the molasses and the cinnamon, I knew I wanted to make some kind of soy based tare."

Judge: "It was just too strong for the rest of the dish. Just kind of obliterated everything."

Judge: "Just curious about how you made the meatball? It felt a little dry and a little bit spongy."

Shuai: "Yeah, it was definitely light and airy and deliberately different from a traditional meatball. But I didn't think was too spongy, personally."

Kristen Kish: "It just felt a little bit off."
