Chocolate Cake with Condensed Milk and Coca Cola

The use of coca cola and condensed milk makes for a very moist cake, which is topped with a lovely soft coca cola caramel.
Ingredients
100 gm European butter
14 oz can condensed milk
225 gm self-rising flour
3 tablespoons dark cocoa powder
250 ml Coca Cola
2 eggs
COCA COLA CARAMEL:
200 ml apple juice
150 gm caster sugar
25gm European butter
2 tablespoons golden syrup
120 ml Coca Cola
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 320°F.
Mix the butter and condensed milk.
Add all the dry ingredients and mix well.
Add the coke and mix.
Pour the batter into a prepared tin and tap to distribute evenly.
Bake in the oven for 50 minutes or until a sharp knife, if inserted, comes out clean.
Meanwhile, make the caramel by putting all the ingredients into a pan and stir while it comes to the boil. Keep on a rolling boil until it reaches 240°F, then remove from the heat and serve with the cake.
