Ingredients
540 gm all purpose flour
1.5 teaspoons baking soda
1.5 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon vanilla powder
0.75 teaspoons baking powder
225 gm European butter
225 gm cane sugar
200 gm caster sugar
2 eggs
Instructions
Sieve the dry ingredients together.
Either with a free-standing mixer, or a hand-whisk, beat together the butter and two types of sugar until pale and creamy. Slowly beat in the eggs.
Beat together the dry and wet ingredients.
