Anthony selected the apple stack cake from the dessert display, citing his great-grandmother who would make towers of paper-thin apple pancakes that resembled crepes. The plate featured an apple semifreddo built with two types of apple butter and dried apples folded inside, an apple gel, an apple coulis layered at the base, and a spiced cake punctuated with molasses.
