Beer Mug Macarons

Beer mug shaped macarons filled with white chocolate and orange ganache, raising a glass to Lisa's favorite drink, the orange crush, the Maryland state cocktail.
Lisa is one of two bakers eliminated this week, alongside Sue, after the judges declared them tied in the bottom spot.
Lisa: "I'm actually putting mine in a large beer mug. So I've broken mine up into three batches. The macarons that I am making are inspired by my favorite drink called an orange crush."
Lisa: "So this is the macaronage part when you're mixing your meringue and your almond flour and sugar. I take a French conversation group online. Since I'm missing that to bake, I thought I should practice. So there you go. Le macaronage."
Lisa: "So I'm just piping the suds on the top of my beer mugs."
Lisa: "My second batch have their feet, so that's good. They cracked a little. That's bad. But I put in extra triple sec and orange crush filling, so maybe they'll forget that the shell is cracked, you know?"
Lisa: "Timing was off as usual. They got feet, but they're under baked. None of them are coming off here." Lisa: "It's a disaster. I'm not gonna get this done."
Lisa: "Everybody else's look so nice. My macarons just did not behave. I don't know if it was the humidity. I don't know if it was me. I'm gonna blame the humidity. I can't work in these conditions."
Paul: "Did you run out of time at the end?"
Lisa: "I did. I should have started with the bottoms and not the tops."
Paul: "You could have filled it then and waited to put the top on."
Prue: "Just such a pity."
Paul: "Amazing zing from the orange. That kick of alcohol."
Prue: "I love that. What a surprise. I must say, they taste absolutely lovely. I love the color, but they are a complete mess."
