Paula: "I'm going to braise my pork belly. I'm going to use the main ingredients of chocolate and the vanilla. I'm going to do a rub with cacao powder as well."
Presenting to the Judges
"What I have is a braised pork belly with cacao. I roasted the beets with coconut vanilla vinaigrette. The crumble is chocolate graham crackers."
Judges: "Are you finding any similarities in Paula's dish to the Nanaimo bars?"
"Very subtle nod."
"Right. Didn't Paola say that there is sort of a chocolate. A chocolate rub? Yeah. I didn't really get that."
