Soo: "I took inspiration from Elena's breakfast that she cooked for her kids. Roasted butternut squash, huitlacoche puree and wild rice gnocchi."


Gail Simmons: "Are you sure you want to call this gnocchi?"


Soo: "Wild rice dumplings."

"I'm actually really enjoying it. I like the brightness that little bit of huckleberry sauce is bringing, and I like the huitlacoche. It's a very intimidating ingredient."
