Cherry and Chocolate Marble Loaf Cake
John: "I'm doing a cherry and chocolate cake today. This is cherry paste to really get the cherry flavor in the cake. So I just hope for the best."
Voice Over: "Inspired by a family holiday to the Bavarian Alps, John will top his black forest loaf cake with dark chocolate ganache and cherry macarons."
Paul Hollywood: "One thing I do like about this is the height."
Prue Leith: "Proper loaf, isn't it there? Is there a swirl?"
Paul Hollywood: "That's the question. Oh, more of a splodge, really, isn't it? What I love about that cake is cherries are sour and you've imparted that into the sponge, which is quite tricky to do."
Prue Leith: "The texture's perfect, flavour's lovely. It's very good."
