Freya creates German cinnamon stars with a British twist, adding glacé cherries for a cherry bakewell flavor profile. The almond-based cookies are inspired by the Christmas classic cinnamon stars.
Paul: 'I think that's lovely. What's so good is that the K and the cherry acidity makes the whole thing lighter.' Mary: 'And these ones should be quite crisp, is that right? They should be crispy on the outside and as they age, they get crispy on the inside too. I mean, it's tough. Yeah. You know, so tough. It's offering me out for a fight. But I love the favors of both. I think you've done really well.'
