Chocolate, Cherry and Hazelnut Brownies
Rich chocolate brownies enhanced with hazelnuts and cherries, tested by army regiment for approval. Beca's familiar home recipe elevated for competition. Dialog: {Beca}: "I'm making hazelnut and chocolate brownies, something that I make often at home. I've just pimped them up a little bit, so I've added the cherries. It was a toss up between what flavors I was going to put into my brownies this week. So I did a batch of pear and walnut and chocolate and then these and I gave them to Matt. He took the brownies into barracks in the week and apparently he's still having emails and text messages from people saying that they like both of them."
Mary Berry: "Every piece is even. Nice straight sides."
Paul Hollywood: "I think you have an issue with the middle line of three, which aren't quite baked enough. But the overall look as the tray bake and the criteria that we gave you is very good."
