"Today we've made chocolate and blood orange brigadeiro macarons. Brigadeiro is something super famous in Brazil and usually it's just chocolate but we wanted to add the blood orange because it gives a nice other layer of flavor.'
Judges Notes
"The sheen looks beautiful but I come down to here and we're sort of hiding the sort of little miniature ones next to the big boys. The chocolate delicious. Have to be careful. The texture is slightly grainy and when you bite into that macaron you want the smoothness on the inside as much as the outside. The problem I've got with this one is it's just a little bit overcooked because of the size difference and that's all to do with the piping. - Gordon Ramsay"
