Ashleigh: "My pre-dessert is inspired by Agatha Christie. She's in the Guinness World Book of Records. My pre-dessert is inspired by one of her most favorite characters, Hercule Poirot. Hence the moustache."


Simon Rogan: "Oh, you're making a mustache truffle."


Ashleigh: "Yes, I am.  I've got a chocolate Guinness cake going in hazelnut white chocolate ganache. And Poirot was well known for enjoying creme de cassis, so I've soaked some dates in creme de cassis inspired by that."



Simon Rogan: "That's more of a petits-four than a pre dessert."
