Coffee and Chili Rubbed Seared Pork Loin with Tostones and Dragon Fruit Salsa 


Also on the Coffee gelato flavor, Rhoda made a coffee and chili rubbed seared pork loin chop served with tostones - twice-fried plantain rounds - and a dragon fruit salsa. The coffee rub produced a dark, spiced crust on the seared pork. The tostones provided starchy crunch alongside the meat, and the dragon fruit salsa brought fresh acidity and vivid color. The combination of coffee-rubbed pork with plantains and tropical fruit reflects a Latin American and Caribbean barbecue tradition.
