Martha made date and walnut rye rolls with honey and used an egg wash on top. Martha said: "I'm making date and walnut rye rolls." Paul noted it was a "Classic combination." Martha explained: "Got an egg wash to put on the top of it. This makes them a bit shinier."
Paul Hollywood warned: "That's very daring." When Martha asked "Is it?" Paul replied: "Yeah. Very daring to put an egg wash on." He later explained: "But because you put the glaze on the top, which is falsely accused the roller being ready. You brought it out too early."
