Voice-over: "31 year old entrepreneur David Chambers lives near Milton Keynes with his girlfriend Ellie. He takes all of his hobbies extremely seriously, especially his baking."
David made a two-tier chocolate sponge cake, filled with orange buttercream and iced with orange frosting.
Paul Hollywood: "That is really rather too bright."
Paul Hollywood: "Reminds me of the sort of 60s Fanny Craddock cakes."
David: "I think once you get a slice out of it and then you look at it, you're going to see that the browns and the oranges have some layers in there now. I think that now takes a lot of the orange sort of out of it and it's balancing a lot better."
