David's Tofu and 'Shroom Savory Pies

David was the only baker spicing up his hot water crust pastry with tumeric and curry powder. His filling was tofu, mushroom and vegetables, in honor of his daughter who lives on a plant based diet. He topped the pies with mini pastry mushrooms and the filling was seasoned with soy sauce and golden raisins. Our recipe is here.
Judging
The judges thought this was a remarkable feat. David even won a Hollywood Handshake.
Paul Hollywood: "I love the color of the cooked pies, because of the infusion of spices that you put in the pastry.
Prue Leith: "When I first looked at your filling, I expected it to be dry, but in truth it is so moist and so delicious."
Paul Hollywood: "Honestly, I've never had tofu that I've enjoyed before but THAT is a fantastic pie."
