Deconstructed Chocolate Cake with Coconut Shuku Shuku and Raspberry Coulis
{Peter}: "I'm making a chocolate cake, a coconut shuku shuku, and a raspberry coulis. The shuku shuku is shaved coconut in a candy form, almost like a garnish. In Nigeria we had two coconut trees in our compound and I'd grab the coconuts off my mom's shoulders."

{Judge}: "It looks unfinished. The heart is the cake and it needs more cake, you've been too sparse."
{Judge}: "The way you deconstructed it has gone too far. The cake is actually good, it's what's surrounding it that's bringing it down."
{Judge}: "You had an idea and I don't think you executed it the way you should have. You almost garnished this plate and everything else is a bit too much."
In deliberation: "Physically unappealing, it was badly deconstructed." Told: "You did just enough to stay in this competition."
