Chef Charly: "What we have is a play on the chicken and the egg. What I've done is a black mushroom haitian rice called Djondjon. It's a whipped eggs mousse. Shards of chicken skin, pickled mushrooms, and peas."

Buddha Lo: "Seasoning is really good. I'm not sure if I was a huge fan of having an eggshell on my plate, but I love the idea of it and the concept."


Gail Simmons: "Technically, from an execution standpoint, I think there's a lot of flaws. The rice, totally inconsistent, but really satisfying."


Kristen Kish: "The first bite on both dishes was just like a nice spoonful of good food."
