Frankie's recipe-test plate: hand-made potato gnocchi in a Tuscan-style cream sauce with sun-blushed tomatoes and spinach, topped with crunchy pangrattato. She fretted about adding water to the dough but produced the standout plate of the round.
Judge: "Your gnocchi is very nice and you can see the ridges and the lines on it. I like the flavor of the crunchy caramelised pangrattato with little notes of lemon zest."
Judge: "Your sauce is great. If that was in the fridge, I'd eat it for breakfast." The judges named Frankie as the cook who stood out in the round and praised her potential.
