French Degustation Monkey Bread

Three-variety French-inspired monkey bread featuring simple French flavors: croque monsieur filling in one variety, French onion soup in another, and steak with peppercorns in the third. Tom reduced his fillings and thickened with corn flour to avoid moisture leakage - the challenge being getting flavor without too much moisture.
Looks quite quaint. French onion soup variety is delicious, quite sweet with great punchy strong onion flavors. Croque monsieur is spot on - tastes authentic like Paul remembers from living in Paris as a student. The dough is lightening up but still a bit heavy, though decent overall.
