Fateha describes her plan: 'I'm doing like a Bengali tangy soup. There's tomatoes, garlic, chili, and oil and lemon.' John clarifies her approach: 'So what you're doing is using the food of Bangladesh, but molding it around using the gnocchi. Fantastic.' When asked what she learned from the previous round, Fateha responds: 'Not to burn food.' The judges praise her approach: 'I'm really impressed with Fateha, she's never made it, but she's looked at the instructions. She knows what she's doing. She's now going to serve that with a Bangladesh inspired tomato sauce. Looking forward to this.' Fateha reads from instructions: 'Cook the gnocchi in salted until they float.' After judging, she reflects: 'I didn't even know what it was. I didn't even know how to pronounce it. Nothing burnt in this round, so I'm happy with that.'

John: 'You had no idea what the gnocchi was, so you followed the instruction we gave you to the letter, and you ended up with very good, light, fluffy gnocchi. We have sweet, slightly sharp tomato sauce flavored quite heavily with garlic and a little bit of chili. Well, that is what you would want with your gnocchi. Well done, you.' Gregg: 'Although you may call this Bengali sauce, actually, it tastes like a spicy tomato Italian sauce. For me, it's great.'
