Halloween Stained Glass Window Cake

Four individually decorated spooky stained glass windows encase a parsnip, apple and celeriac sponge sandwiching layers of maple meringue buttercream and ginger spice marrow jam. Christiaan: "In the Netherlands, we celebrate Saint Martin, when kids craft little lanterns and they go around the houses and sing a song, and that's when they get the candy. But then I moved to the UK and that's kind of our first starter to experience Halloween. I absolutely love it. I go all out with the house decorations." Christiaan: "There's a lot going on. There's a lot of favors." The cake features electric tea lights that shine behind each little window.
Paul Hollywood: "I mean it's a pretty morbid looking cake. Very neat though, cuz you've done beautiful work on the outside to keep it like that." Prue Leith: "The stained glass is just amazing. Really beautifully done." Paul Hollywood: "Love it." Paul Hollywood: "The celeriac and the parsnip work beautifully well inside it and the citrus flavors just lighten it all up." Prue Leith: "I love the jam and the filling cuz it's very smooth."
