Italian Sausage with Fennel & Olive Soda Bread

Rowan's savory soda bread featuring southern Italian sausage (salà), fennel, and olives, reflecting his love of Italian cuisine and gardening. The bread incorporated fried-off sausage pieces.
Paul: 'They both look as if they haven't risen quite enough. They're very big lumps of sausage... Actually, the sausage is okay. The olives are okay. The bread itself, I would have left it in longer... See how wet? That's why it's heavy. It would be nice if it was lighter.' Flavors were appreciated but baking and texture issues were noted.
