Jamaican Beef Savory Weave

Aaron: 'My grandparents are from Jamaica, so my nan was always cooking for us when were younger, and I'm known for putting spice in everything. But I'm just going to tone down the spice slightly because I don't want to kill the judges. So it's a Jamaican beef patty flling. Some allspice and Jamaican curry powder. Oh, yes, and. Scotch bonnet. This is my Scotch bonnet. They're not for the faint of heart."
Aaron: "It's the prettiest plait I've ever done in my life. So it looks decent. Just say a little prayer. And it's in at 190º C."
Paul Hollywood: 'That plaiting is fantastic. Really, really good. Holds together beautifully well. That's beautiful, Aaron. It's really good. Heat is spot on. The pastry is lovely, but it's slightly under baked. That's the annoying thing about it. It's holding well. Full of favor. Plaiting's good. Stunning. Well done.'
Prue Leith: 'That is a beautiful piece of pastry. Delicious. Yes, it really is delicious. Wow. Just delicious. You have done Jamaica proud. I love that."
