Lemon and Poppy Seed Cake
Mark's lemon and poppy seed cake carved into the shape of a lemon, inspired by his sister's recipe. He's a kitchen fitter from Milton Keynes whose three boys are picking up his flair for baking. He had oven temperature issues during baking which affected the final result.
Mary: 'We can see that it's underbaked.' Paul: 'It looks like a rough plasterer's job. The sponge tastes good.' Mary: 'It does look a little bit untidy on the top, but you've got a very good sponge.'
