Marinated Fennel Salad with Feta and Lemon Puree 

Justin and Jennifer were both assigned Mint Chocolate Chip - a flavor Justin noted is his personal favorite. Both chefs independently connected it to Mediterranean cuisine through its mint notes and the pairing of mint with cheese and vegetables. Justin made a marinated fennel salad served on a base of feta cheese and lemon puree. 

Mid-service, the two chefs realized they had been speaking aloud about their dishes while cooking side by side and had arrived at nearly identical plates. Justin noted: it's starting to sound like we have almost the same dish.
