Which Show?
Who made this dish?
Signature challenge: 30 identical American-style cookies in two hours, any flavor, with an appropriate decorative finish, crisp to the bite with a chewy center. Moyin's chocolate chip cookies have miso and espresso in the dough, with salted caramel, dark chocolate ganache and candied peanuts on top and a sprinkle of sea salt. The recipe wowed his American cousin, and he has recently taken up golf lessons with his sister. {Moyin}: "So I'm making some chocolate chip cookies with a bit of miso and espresso in the batter." Paul said it was unusual to use miso. {Moyin}: "I thought it's quite normal, to be honest." {Nigella Lawson}: "Like I said, darling, the young people are doing it a lot." Asked by Paul why he was adding salt: {Moyin}: "I was going to add it before, but I don't like salt." {Nigella Lawson}: "Remember not to go overboard. It's about a little touch." {Moyin}: "Gosh, this is so hot." {Moyin}: "I'm just adding the peanut [unclear] on top. Just a nice blob." {Moyin}: "So these are like a chocolate chip cookie, but they've got a bit of miso and espresso in the dough. Salted caramel, dark chocolate ganache and then some candied peanuts on top." [The narrator refers to him as both 'Mo' and 'Moy' in this segment. The miso cookie, the golf lessons and the American cousin are assigned to Moyin because the lemon cookie is clearly Mo's.]
{Nigella Lawson}: "It was a bit too much salt." {Paul Hollywood}: "The flavor is probably slightly too salty. It is underbaked, which is making everything [unclear]. But your flavors, you're nearly there. It's okay." {Nigella Lawson}: "I think your flavors are better than okay. What I think is you need much less on top." {Paul Hollywood}: "I like the look of them. Probably needed a little bit longer in the oven."
