Nicky aimed to marry two classic flavors.
Nicky: "It's an orange and lemon cake because myself and my sister used to play a skipping game Oranges and lemons. Sing the bells of St. Clements."
Nicky hoped to take off in the competition with a blood orange swiss roll sponge, lemon curd and an orange and rosemary syrup capping the cake.
