Pandan Chiffon Cake with Palm Sugar Cream

Kim-Joy: "I'm making a pandan chiffon tray bake cake." Kim-Joy: "Pandan is like a long leaf and you get the juice from it." Kim-Joy: "It's kind of a love or hate flavor. So I like dangerous thing to do. I love it." Kim Joy often bakes treats for her and her partner Nabil's marathon board game sessions. Her pandan and coconut tray bake topped with palm sugar cream is one of his favorites.

Paul: "They look really elegant. They look all the same size. Very neat. Oh, lovely color. I love that pale green that comes from this pandan leaf, isn't it? I love the chiffon. That is lovely." Prue: "Textures are perfect. The look of it's perfect. But I just don't like the [flavor]." Paul: "For me, it's not the right flavor to go in a traybake. But I admire the fact that you did it because that chiffon's perfect."
