Mary-Anne: "I'm making a rustic loaf with Welsh cheddar chunks, caramelized onion, and beer, inspired by a ploughman's packed lunch."
Marianne: "I imagine a plowman out in the field for taking his pack lunch. You need this bread and an apple and you'd be something to drink and you'd be certainly set."
Marianne: "I'm doing big chunks with nice really strong Welsh cheddar so it doesn't disappear into the loaf. When it's cooking, you do get a nugget of cheese."
Mary Berry: "It falls apart well. It cuts well, too."
Paul Hollywood: "It's very tricky doing this sort of thing. You've got some great flavors going on in there, but it's slightly underbaked."
