Italian-inspired monkey bread with parmesan topping, porcini mushroom flavored dough balls, and knots filled with tried and tested green pesto and red pesto. Toby's ode to Italy showcasing his proven pesto recipes with earthy mushroom flavors.
Impressive looking with visible little balls, though slightly misshapen. Mushroom flavor is intense with really good deep flavor. Pesto varieties are a bit weak. Bake is all right but proving is shy - needed longer. Overall not bad but flavors are lacking. More enthusiastic response from second judge who found it absolutely delicious.
