Ras el Hanout Duck Breast

Chris Morgan: "So it's ras el hanout-seasoned duck breast, beet borani, cabbage with a miso harissa glaze."
When asked what happened to the duck: Chris Morgan: "Got a little too much color on one of them. Picked a new one up and tried to rush it, and it just wasn't ready. And I just didn't want to serve you an incredibly raw duck, which may have been better than serving none at all."
Post-judging, Padma Lakshmi: "That roasted cabbage was fantastic. You didn't need the duck."
Wiley Dufresne: "I completely agree. We had cabbage on its own last night and it was spectacular."
Michael Cimarusti: "I didn't have duck on my plate. But the ras el hanout is delicious."
Padma Lakshmi: "Really delicious."
Wiley Dufresne: "It would have been a spectacular vegetarian dish. Instead of trying to worry about us, you could have just taken it off of Padma's. Nobody would have been the wiser."
Padma Lakshmi (additional): "That roasted cabbage was fantastic. You didn't need the duck."
Result: Score 27. Lost head-to-head to Katie Button (51). Proceeded to elimination round.
