Raspberry and Almond Trifle

Glenn made a raspberry and almond trifle inspired by a friend's recipe from a women's magazine. He piped lady fingers into rounds rather than traditional strips, stacking them to create distinct layers. Always challenging himself to create more original bakes than those found in shops or restaurants, he admitted normal cakes were much easier. His homemade jam was made from 500g raspberries and 500g sugar boiled for 15 minutes.
Paul Hollywood: "I think the creme pat is good. It's holding well and you've just got the right amount of soaking of the sponge."
