Rhubarb and Custard Roulade
Rhubarb and Custard Roulade

{Rahul}: "I was introduced to rhubarb when I first came here. I hated it because it's just so sharp. But then I had rhubarb and custard, so this is, like, one of the first British flavor that I grown into liking." {Rahul}: "Did you not win Star Baker twice in a row? Oh, my God. Do you have to say that?" Rahul's classic roulade features rich cream custard and rhubarb compote rolled in a flaked almond decorated meringue.

Paul: "It looks absolutely lovely. Nice and even all the way down. The kisses look amazing." Prue: "Thank you." Paul: "What you've got is a massive meringue with a little fold. There is no spiral there." Prue: "Meringue is quite chewy." Paul: "You haven't baked it long enough. It needed a little bit longer. However, your interior is delicious. Smooth sharpness coming from the rhubarb." Prue: "It tastes lovely." Paul: "Thank you. Thank you."
