Who made this dish?
[Signature challenge: the ultimate garlic bread. Any style, but it must be made with a yeasted dough and taste fabulously garlicky. Three hours. Paul and Nigella asked for garlic to be the star, with any extra flavors complementing it rather than overpowering it.] Moyin made swirled bread rolls filled with a garlic pesto made with both raw and roasted garlic, pine nuts, basil and Parmesan. Moyin: "Who doesn't like garlic bread?" Moyin: "Two heads of garlic, roast it, and get it started." Moyin: "You have to actually make it taste like garlic or you're done for. So I'm filling it with a garlic pesto. We've got raw and roasted garlic in the pesto." Moyin: "That garlicky breath that everybody hates." Moyin: "I'm happy. I can't complain at all." Moyin: "Smashed it."
Paul: "They're basic, but they look okay. The color's nice and strong." Nigella: "I think it could have done with a crisper crust. The softness of the roll doesn't really go with the filling." Paul: "Yeah. It's pretty boring on the flavor. I mean, you get the kick of the pesto and you get the garlic. But it's more cake-like than bread-like, which means you need more proving."
