Jason, at 25 the youngest baker and hoping to take his baking to a professional level, goes Asian-inspired with a salmon and pak choi quiche. 


{Jason}: "I was looking for something different, and I thought, how about sesame seeds? And then sesame seeds led to fish - salmon, pak choi." He makes a deliberate effort with presentation. 


{Jason}: "I did make a conscious effort to make my quiche look good. Hopefully the judges will be impressed." He works steadily, keeping a close eye on his timing through the two-hour challenge.

{Paul Hollywood}: "There's a lot of stuff in there. I can see that you've done well." 


{Mary Berry}: "With the custard part, there's not a bubble in it. It's just set." 


{Paul Hollywood}: "The salmon flavour is spectacular. I am getting some great flavours coming through." 


Jason impressed the judges and finished 3rd in the technical.
