Shikacha Focaccia
Shikacha Focaccia

Rebecca: "So this is my shikacha, my Chicago style hot dog focaccia."

A celery salt and poppy seed focaccia base topped with a Chicago skyline built from bell pepper and red onion, celebrating Rebecca's hometown's famous hot dog.

Rebecca: "A big monument in Chicago is this giant mirror bean, and it's gonna go on my focaccia." Paul questioned why there were no frankfurters in a hot dog focaccia. Rebecca: "It's hot dog esque."

Rebecca: "So I tried it, and it just kind of messed with the texture of the focaccia."

Paul: "No, I've done it before." Andrew: "Okay, that's for next time."

Rebecca after the bake: "I think it went really well. I got a focaccia done. I do think the judges will like it, and I don't think they're gonna miss the hot dog."

After judging she added, "They didn't love it. I don't even know if they had anything nice to say about it. Honestly, I'm gonna cry. This is so embarrassing. It's just bread."

Rebecca was eliminated from the competition this week. No Hollywood Handshake was awarded.

Prue: "It's very risen in the middle, not so much at the edge. The design is okay, but it's pretty simple."

Prue: "I know you were trying to make it taste like a hot dog. Doesn't taste like a hot dog."

Paul: "Not enough olive oil. Not enough salt, not enough water. It's lacking flavor. It's lacking texture."
