Rob, a creative baker who dreams of one day working as a pastry chef, bounces back from last week - when he dropped a cake on the floor - with a smoked bacon and kale quiche.
{Rob}: "It was a bit stressful, especially when I threw a cake on the floor." He stays relaxed, describing himself as "very Zen," but runs badly behind, still blind baking with time running out.
{Paul Hollywood}: "Rob, what are you doing? Turn your oven off." Paul likens himself to a schoolteacher urging Rob to stop messing around and get it in the oven.
{Mary Berry}: "Kale does nothing for me."
{Paul Hollywood}: "You can't taste the kale, but that pastry is superb. Very, very good." The pastry won high praise, though the bake looked messy and pale.
{Paul Hollywood}: "It looks a mess. The actual bake, it's a bit pale." Rob recovered to finish 5th in the technical.
