Sandy: "I'm hoping that they rise, but they're the way they're supposed to. With a quick bread, there's no proving the dough will only rise when it's in the oven. They have a mind of their own and they just kind of puff up wherever they feel like puffing up. There's an element of faith here." Paul Hollywood: "It looks as though it was quite a wet dough. And of course, it will change the texture because you've added extra fat from the bacon. I like the flavor very much, but it just crumbles when you touch it."
