Spicy Asian Inspired Crackers

John: 'Obviously, a lot of the favor is fairly redundant in it until it's cooked. And so I wanted to just toast the spices off first because that releases the essential oils in the spices and that gets, you know, the favor really booming.'
John: 'These are the crackers that you'd have, like, with your mates around, you know, a really good nibbly cracker packed full of favor, which is what the judges were missing last week from my food. So hopefully this will sort them out.'
John: 'Consistency is key with this and because we're doing 48, it's going to be quite tricky to make sure that every single one is the same.'
Judges Notes
Mary Berry: 'The Hollywood crack. It's breaking well. It's lovely and crisp. Hint of curry. One or two of them are a little over baked..'
Paul Hollywood: 'Flavor's lovely and it is crispy and they're all the same size. I'd like to see them a little bit bigger, though.'
