Stuart's recipe-test plate: hand-made potato gnocchi in a Tuscan-style cream sauce with sun-blushed tomatoes and spinach, topped with pangrattato. He had made gnocchi before, but ran short of sauce as his pan reduced too far, and the garlic was cut too coarsely.
Judge: "There are some good flavors from your sauce - I'm getting the white wine, but quite big chunks of garlic in it."
Judge: "The gnocchi themselves are really well seasoned; I can imagine your family are delighted by them." In deliberation: "I love garlic... but it really did overpower this dish."
