Carole recreates the classic French dish tartiflette on a pizza base, using Gruyère and Reblochon cheeses combined with pancetta, potatoes, and onions. She discovered this combination while moving boats from the UK to the Mediterranean, where they had to eat pizza for quick meals on the go. This became one of her favorites during those travels.
Prue: You put too much of it on because it's spewing out all over the place. Can't really see the pizza at all. You've layered on so much that's basically what's happened to the base. It should be holding. So it's divine. It's absolutely beautiful. So you only made one mistake. Too much of a good thing.
