Who made this dish?

[Signature challenge: the ultimate garlic bread. Any style, but it must be made with a yeasted dough and taste fabulously garlicky. Three hours. Paul and Nigella asked for garlic to be the star, with any extra flavors complementing it rather than overpowering it.]

Clara, last week's Star Baker, made spiraled garlic buns filled with mozzarella and her mother-in-law's recipe for Thai basil and garlic pesto, using six bulbs of garlic. Clara: "I am putting six in." (bulbs of garlic) Clara: "This is a recipe for my mother-in-law. She loves Thailand. Thai basil has a licorice flavor. It's a bit more spicy, like it has a punch." Paul: "I like the sound of the Thai basil with this." Nigella: "How's the reigning Star Baker?" Clara: "I'm good. Treating it as a workshop this week and just learning with you guys." Noel: "You know that's not what happens. You're in a competition." Clara: "Hi, pesto." Clara: "Not super aesthetically pleasing, but as long as they're delicious." Clara: "As long as it tastes nice."

Paul: "I love the color. I love strong colors on bread." Nigella: "I love the texture here on the outside. But I'm not sure you didn't have too much Thai basil. I love it because I love all things anise, but it is so strongly aromatic and it's fighting with the garlic." Paul: "Yeah, it's the garlic that's lacking. But I love the bake on them. Spot on." Nigella: "I do love the chew you get all around the top." Paul (later): Named Clara among the bakers "in the top end" so far.
