Azu: "Well, we made venison with Beurre Rouge sauce, mashed potatoes, and salad."

"So I want to make one thing very clear. That's not a beurre rouge. Beurre is butter. Rouge is red. What you made is a berry compote. These three little pieces of fruit looks like it's just come out of my son's lunchbox. What a shame." 


"This challenge tonight was about the cohesiveness in these dishes. These elements don't even work together. This is a very heavy compound that is just super sweet. There's too much olive oil on the greens. Your venison, it is cooked beautifully. It's pink, but I think it's your worst performing dish."


"I'm not sure you actually communicated on what should you make as a duo. It's like, you do venison, I'll do the potatoes, and that's it. And it's just not a dish that I'm enjoying."


"You certainly didn't do what we asked you to do - which is to create a cohesive dish that is balanced and unified."
