View from My Window Focaccia
View from My Window Focaccia

Scott: "We are making the view from my window focaccia. When I look out of my window, I see Central park. And we're using three different colored peppers to represent sunrise."

A rosemary and garlic infused focaccia base painted with olive tapenade, pesto, and pureed red, orange and yellow peppers to recreate the view of Central Park at sunrise.

Andrew: "Olive, tapenade, pesto and pureed peppers will paint a Central park sunrise view atop a rosemary and garlic infused focaccia base."

Scott: "We're going to curate all these vegetables individually and pipe them out to sort of create that sunrise gradient."

Scott on his drawing: "My drawing is like that of a kindergartner, but, I mean, it's kind of cool. We'll see how it all comes together."

Scott was concerned about an uneven bake: "The right side might be a little uneven. If that's the only thing that's wrong with the bread, it's okay."

Afterwards: "It's got a nice top crust, so I'm not upset at all. I think it looks good."

After judging Scott reflected, "It's Paul Hollywood. I didn't expect anything different."

No Hollywood Handshake was awarded.

Paul: "Looks great. You're basically painted with veg, which I think it's worked out quite nicely."

Prue: "It's very original. A grid around the outsides. The window, presumably. I like the texture. Lack salt, and it definitely could be do with a crisper crust."

Paul: "The structure is not bad, but it's a bit too tight. Needed more water, more proving. Needed more oil on the base just to give it a little fry because it makes a big difference to a focaccia."
